Hi I’m Lucy

I went to my first yoga class following a move to London at 23. I was feeling overwhelmed with the relocation and thought I’d give it a go, on the advice of my mum who had been practicing yoga for many years.

Over those early years I tried many different styles and approaches, trying new teachers and classes. I became more and more curious about this ancient discipline, as I new I felt better for being on my mat and not as good when I missed my weekly class. The respect and compassion that u underpinned the posture practice made me want to explore yoga more deeply.

A career break during pregnancy gave me the space to reconsider my options.

I’ve worked in film, been a shopkeeper, a buyer and developed brands, an account manager in the city, had a market stall.....a patchwork of experiences. But my passion for understanding the human condition and love of people was the common theme that kept me engaged in all these roles.

So I knew I wanted to work much more closely with people, in a more caring capacity.

Becoming a yoga teacher seemed the most natural step

I chose a two year course to qualify, after taking a foundation course. It’s important to me that my learning is as thorough as possible and I continue to study with regularity. Advancing my learning to become a Yoga Therapist is a journey I felt sure I had to embark on and I’m delighted to be on it.

being a mum is my greatest joy.
When I’m not teaching,

I also love spending time with friends in good conversation and laughter, exploring new places, dancing my socks off when the occasion allows, and just living my life as freely, fully and peacefully as I can.
