Nice Things Being Said…I've enjoyed yoga for many years and Lucy is one of the best teachers I have had the good fortune to be taught by. She invites people to explore postures in accordance with their own bodies. One of her favourite phrases is "let's have a play."
She is creative and able to suggest variations for those that are stiff, like myself. I love the way she talks us through the movements, her attention to detail. This focus and and exploration into a posture has a great grounding and beneficial impact.
I'm aware that my balance is improving and physical strength returning, after surgery.
I really enjoy and benefit from my one to one sessions with Lucy. She is so welcoming and empathetic. I can talk easily to her about many concerns. She provides plenty of suggestions and alternative postures to work into. I can feel the impact our sessions have and I feel so much calmer.
I can go with a throbbing hip or emotionally overloaded, but leave feeling better physically and mentally. She brings me pockets of calm, strength and perspective, within the busy push and pulls of daily life.
